    @ultrakool If you mean I take the word of men like Noam Chomsky over a three undergrads who made sensationalist documentary then yes my “hang ups” are clouding my judgment.

    Also I’d like to reiterate how obnoxious alleging that Maher is on the conspiracy for not debating it on air; it’s like Holocaust deniers who claim anyone who refutes them is under the influence of the Jews.

    95% of the crowd favored tossing the hecklers out, are they in cahoots with the Bush administration too?

    If so where’s all the sweet stuff (I live below the poverty line and am buried in debt, which admitedly is mostly my fault) that’s supposed to come with being the government’s lackey?

    1. Of course his mind is already made up, he never considered the “truth movement to anything more than crap anyway.
    2. like he said “this isn’t the Iowa Caucus”, it’s a show where Maher debates politidcs with his guests. As much as I’d love to be on Real Time to debate issues, I’m not going to start heckeling him on live TV to get attention.
    3. Almost all (at least all the one’s I’ve debated) of the 9/11 truthers already have their minds made up on this issue themselves.

    @dafaucas Yeah its called being a professional. When you are the host of a show you dont let the audience run it. If he pandered to the audience and played their game it would be stooping to their level; childish. Instead, and far more appropriately, he made a joke of it, so that the rest of his audience could laugh instead of feeling uncomfortable. This was correct.
    I understand you wouldnt know any of that, but, because you dont know anything about what you are talking about…just dont.

    Ok this is a direct quote from Bill Maher, which he said on another show, and I’d say it pretty much sums up how the vast majority of americans feel. “How big a lunatic do you have to be to watch two giant airliners packed with jetfuel slam into buildings on LIVE tv, igniting a massive inferno that burned for 2 hours and then think; well, if thats what you think happened..” I was in Math class watching it happen that day. I was among millions of americans that saw the second one hit. Grow up ppl

    I like Bill Maher and all but even though the dudes in the audience have no right disturbing his show they do make some good points. Bill Maher should interview/have a debate with Jesse Ventura, Alex Jones and/or Charlie Sheen about what happened on 9/11.
