Water-boarding will make someone confess to a crime whether they are guilty or not, just to get them to stop. Torture is not in the Constitution, a fair trial is. The reason why is because it could become accepted as a normality in our society for all citizens — sort of like the movie ‘The Running Man’. A trial by jury is very essential, and there are still people in prison who are innocent. Any attorney will agree to that.

The response “I didn’t think heroin would get an applause” was not why the audience was applauding, they were applauding the philosophy circling all issues pertaining to the 1st Amendment. If government regulates virtue of every individual, they are simply tyrannical. Many people really cannot see beyond party labels, nor do they investigate a candidate before voting.
The thing about waterboarding is, the victims of the waterboarding usually give false information. I would be willing to say anything under those circumstances. How about you?
