America needs a? different system altogether…
Obomber.?
Noam Chomsky is? adorable
14/88 The man is but? a part of the nation and the nation lies in the blood, Heil Hitler!
lol at the start of the video Julua? looks almost star struck. I don’t blame her, it only took noam writing back to me for me to feel teh same haha
@coletrainwvu Well, I think you make a good point. However, from MY liberal perspective, (it works both ways)I hate the idea that in the General Election in Florida Nov. 2,000 Nader, as a 3rd pty drew 90K votes of people as liberal or more than Al Gore.Without Nader Gore wins and? we don’t go to war in 2 tragic cases where thousands of US soldiers die for a pack of Bush/Cheney lies.If ur a conservative, u don’t want 2 conserv’s running against 1 lib. Still ur correct, money talks bullshit walks.
@Loejyrrab how would that be any different from now? What’s to keep people from just voting for the candidates with the most financial backing/media hype, like they currently? do in primaries?
@jimbobanalbeats Third party not the answer. We need “run off voting” Let? everybody run. Top 2 go to the finals. It’s the only way not to throw an election to a bad actor. Remember Florida, yr.2,000?
Quit voting for these people. Can we get a third party? please? Stupid fucking american FUCKS. Noam Chomsky is a great man. I hope he is in good health.
@camb702
real credit? goes to professor C.
US? foreign policy towards Isreal has remain fixed. There is no real difference between administrations. Chomsky mentions this in another video and I believe the evidence backs him up.
Israel =? Parasite. This is a great nation, one of the best this world has ever had. It is paving its way to self-destruction.
Now, Chomsky, do I turn to thee, and mark my greeting well; for what I speak my body shall make good upon this earth, or my divine soul answer it in heaven. Thou art a traitor and a miscreant, too good to be so and too bad to live, since the more fair and crystal is the sky, the uglier seem the clouds that in it fly. Once more, the more to aggravate the note, with a foul traitor’s name stuff I thy throat; and wish, ere I move, what my tongue speaks my right drawn sword may? prove.
Obahhhma’s only as great as his speech writers and spin doctors? make him appear to be ! ..
This is great. More people should seize the opportunity to ask Prof Chomsky’s opinion about issues, since he has more facts about U.S. foreign? policy in his head than almost anybody else, and his logic is flawless.
I mean things like the way institutions function, etc… need to change, because of the way their operate and who? they benefit, stuff like that.
The only reason I reacted like that is because sure he is Anarchist but he doesn’t advocate the destruction of society either. Im just talking about reading about what he says on the topic… I havent read everything obviously he has a lot of stuff but from what ive read he is for a dismantling of the present system but also knows that it isnt that easy. And that in the present state of things it is probably better to stay with gvt in place because if private? interests took over it would beworse
What do you recommend I read? I’m not speaking bullshit, calm yourself. I truly believe? that Anarchy is possible, as stated above, I just believe that it will eventually be abolished because the mafia, or the government, or some organization of people will take over in it’s place. Stop barking and educate me, you damn fool.
You obviously dont know anything about Anarchy or the way he talks about it. First of you have a extremely simplified version of what it is. And if you read Chomsky instead of watching a few 10 minute videos (if not only this one). I suggest learning about his true views before spreading? bullshit and ignorant and looking like some damn fool.
Anarchy to me is actually based on a primary belief in humanity and the human spirit. People tend to? think of it as people robbing stores and creating chaos. Actually, it’s an organised and structured antitode to such things as severe corruption and power.
The Gaza? strip is a democracy. The West Bank is a democracy.
Israel is the only? democracy in the middle east…why does everyone hate Israel? Go figure.
Noam Chomsky will burn in hell.
Man is is that a fact!
I am? 57 have been around a bit, and wihout a doubt he is the greatest human being I have ever heard
Sorry for being so PO’ed in my earlier responses everyone. I’m saying anarchism is unsustainable, because eventually the ruling elites will, through a ‘revolution’ (Co-opted by them) ‘by the people’ will undoubtedly take its place.
So it is possible, its just not sustainable, and therefore in my opinion a non-issue. I agree with the sentiment? to a certain extent, but believe that its just a temporary band-aid that will eventually turn into an oligarchical authoritarian form of gov’t. Ya know?
How is Anarchism impossible when? it’s already been done and been successful in the past?
Anarchism in Spain was very successful and the economy rose. However, the Fascists, as well as the Communists, put a halt to the anarchist movement.
There was an anarchist society in Ukraine, however Lenin & Co used them during the Russian Revolution as allies, and then killed them after.
Anarchism in France was also successful.
